4. During the measurement the patient’s pupils are circled in green. If the patient’s pupils
are circled in red the measurement is not correct and shall be repeated. Pupil
diameters are displayed below the eyes image during the measurement phase.
The graph on the bottom of the window is the focusing meter, maximizing the value
of the graph will lead to a better measurement.
NOTE: If the patient is not positioned correctly during the measurement the rectangle
which frames the eyes image up becomes red. In this case the operator must ask to
the patient to get closer to KALEIDOS and look inside the tube trying not to move.
5. Exam results are displayed. From top to bottom:
- Spherical Equivalent (SE)
- Refraction results (Sphere, Cylinder and Axis)
- Reliability index, calculated independently for right eye and for left eye
- Pupil size (PS)
In the bottom part of the results window fixation plots, gaze information and pupils
distance are displayed.
