Discoloration at the rubber bellow
Concerns: All ALENA appliances with carboran drum lid
Cause: Depending on water quality and kind of water lines to the washing machine it is possible
that rust-brown deposits may arise ahead and rear at the rubber bellow.
According to a material analysis by the Henkel company, this discoloration contains high
parts of iron as well as copper and manganese.
Measure: Depending on fouling factor it is possible to clean the brown discoloration at the rubber
bellow with a commercial household detergent. When a cleaning is no more possible, the
rubber bellow can only be replaced.
