Removing the Heat Exchanger - Continued
10. Completely loosen the water supply nut, as shown in Figure 3-6, using the 46mm wrench.
11. Completely loosen the water return nut on the outlet side of the flow meter, as shown in
Figure 3-6, using the 46mm wrench.

12. At the rear of the unit, completely loosen the nut for the water supply of the heat exchanger
being replaced using the 46mm wrench, as shown in Figure 3-7.

STEP 10: LOOSEN THE WATER
SUPPLY NUT COMPLETELY
LOOSEN THE
WATER RETURN NUT
COMPLETELY WITH
46mm WRENCH AND
RETAIN THE O-RING
STEP 12: COMPLETELY
LOOSEN THE WATER
SUPPLY NUT AT THE
REAR OF THE UNIT
WITH 46mm WRENCH.
