You can set the units for output amplitude to Vpp, Vrms, or dBm.
See “Output Units” on page 64 for more information.
For dc volts, the output level is actually controlled by setting the
offset voltage. You can set the dc voltage to any value between
5 Vdc
into 50 ohms or
10 Vdc into an open circuit. See “DC Offset Voltage”
on page 62 for more information.
To select
dc volts from the front panel, press Offset and hold it down
for more than 2 seconds
.
Front-Panel Operation: To set the output amplitude, press Ampl .
Then use the knob, arrow keys, or “Enter Number” mode to set the
amplitude.
Remote Interface Operation:
VOLTage {<
amplitude>|MINimum|MAXimum}
You can also use the APPLy command to select the function,
frequency, amplitude, and offset with a single command.
