6 Turn off the water chiller.
7 Close the worksheet by clicking ‘Close’ from the ‘File’ menu but leave the ICP
Expert software running. You may switch off the printer, monitor and any
accessories if desired.
Ensure that the Powersave option on your PC is disabled (this will prevent the
shutdown of your hard disk). If this option is not disabled, you could lose data
during an unexpected shutdown.
WARNING
Noxious Fumes
Inhalation danger. The exhaust system MUST remain on if the gas supplies
are on.
Turning off the instrument for long term shutdown
For extended periods of disuse, fully shutdown the instrument. This turns off all
purging as well as the polychromator thermostatting system).
