4 If the torch was disassembled for cleaning, thoroughly wash the quartz outer
tube-set and the removable top seal. See Figure 17A and Figure 17B.

5 Dry the torch completely and re-assemble the semi-demountable torch if
necessary, prior to using the torch on the instrument.
