Function Specific Troubleshooting
Step 13. Press the EXECUTE - TEST START softkeys to execute the SCANNER INTERFACE test.
Step 14. Confirm that LEDs on the scanner simulator board turn ON in accordance with the
E4980A settings displayed in the LCD.
Step 15. Press the TEST STOP softkey.
NOTE Do not execute any SELF TEST except for the Scanner Interface Test or the E4980A will
become inoperative.
Step 16. Return the switch settings on the scanner interface board to their original settings.
