3. Devices and Operating Elements
Gearbox
The single-wheel power hoe is equipped
with a 2-speed mechanical gearbox for
wheel and tilling drive.
Speed Ratios
Speed ratios of wheel and tilling drive are
engaged with gear shift lever (A/8).
Move lever to the right: .......... 1st gear
Move lever to the left: ............2nd gear
Centre position: ......................... neutral
(idling speed)
Travelling Drive
A roller chain transmits power to the drive-
wheel shaft.
Tilling Drive
The tilling drive is secondary to the 2-
speed mechanical gearbox. This means
that the tilling drive can only be engaged
when the 2-speed-drive is engaged. Thus,
there are 2 speeds available for tilling.
The tilling drive is engaged/disengaged
with shift lever (A/9). Thus, the travelling
drive can be used to change the site of
work while the tilling drive is off.

ing shaft.
