4. Commissioning and Operation
Tilling
l
Start the engine as described in “Start-
ing the Engine”.
l
Pull hand clutch lever (C/5).
l
Select proper speed with gear shift
lever (A/8).
l
For light soil and coarse tilling:
– select slow speed “I”.
For sandy soil and fine tilling:
– select fast speed “II”.
l
Move shift lever for tilling drive (A/9)
to position “tilling”.
l
Slowly release hand clutch lever while
pressing the throttle – the single-wheel
power hoe moves forward and tilling tools
start working.

Never leave the operator’s
position at the steering han-
dle while the machine is at
work.
During all operation with the single-
wheel power hoe, especially when
turning, the operator must keep at a
safe distance as defined by the steer-
ing handle.
Do not clean tilling tools with the en-
gine running. Switch off the engine
and remove spark plug connector.
If clogging occurs, turn off the engine
and clean the attachment with an ap-
propriate tool (wooden stick).
End of Tilling
l
Set speed control lever to idling posi-
tion.
l
Pull hand clutch lever and hold.
l
Move lever for gear shift and tilling to
position “0” (neutral).

Before you actuate shift le-
vers, pull hand clutch lever to
stop. Only move shift levers
with your hands.
Driving with
Single-Wheel Power Hoe
(Change of work-site)
l
Pull hand clutch lever.
l
Turn off tilling drive (A/9) (position “0”).
l
Move speed shift lever to desired
speed.
l
Slightly lift the rear of single-wheel
power hoe on the handlebar for tilling tools
not to touch the ground.
l
Slowly release hand clutch lever while
pressing the throttle slightly – single-
wheel power hoe drives forward and till-
ing tools stop turning.
