Mechanical Gearbox
Check transmission oil level in gear-
box before you commission the machine
and after every 25 operating hours. With
the machine parked in horizontal posi-
tion and with the internal hexagonal screw
plug unscrewed, the oil level must be vis-
ible in the filling opening (B/26). Add
transmission oil, if necessary.

Wheel and Tilling Drive
The Wheel and Tilling Drives are
prelubricated with 150 g transmission flow
grease respectively.
If no lubricant losses are visible on ex-
ternal housings and sealings, lubrication
is not required.
Checking Lubrication
l
Open housing cap (A/11).
l
Crank wheel and tilling shaft 6 revolu-
tions respectively. If chains are wet with
flow grease (visual check), lubrication is
alright. If necessary, add flow grease.
Note: There are two chain housings!
Drive-Wheel
Check tyre air pressure (0.8 bar) fre-
quently.
For 2-wheel version, make sure that there
is the same air pressure in both tyres to
ensure smooth driving.
For full tractive power, mount wheels with
pointed parts of lugs showing in travel
direction (wheels seen from above).
Change transmission oil in mechani-
cal gearbox after the first 25 operating
hours and then after every 50 operating
hours. Keep oil filling opening (B/26) and
drain screw (B/25) and surrounding parts
extremely clean to prevent dirt from pen-
etrating into the gearbox.
For oil quality and quantity, refer to “Speci-
fications”.
