13.1 Control Panel

1 Filter
13.1.1 ALF Filter Start, Operation and Service
The following procedure should be carried out after initial installation and / or after service and
maintenance.
1 Prior to carrying out the commissioning procedure, make sure that the filter is put off stream
and is properly drained.
2 Turn the panel power supply main switch ON
Check that the control panel lamps are on by pressing the push button lamp test / reset alarm.
This button can also be used for resetting the alarm signals
3 Select the filter(s) to be operated (flushing cycle) and turn the corresponding filter on / off
switch ON
A. Control panel S7 5001 / S7 6001: 1 filter on /off switch.
B. Control panel S7 5002 / S7 6002: 2 filter on /off switches
C. Control panel S7 5004 / S7 6004: 4 filter on /off switches
4 Press the filter START (filter system / system run) push button. A flushing sequence is
thereby automatically initiated
5 The filter is delivered with the time selector switch (71S3) inside the panel in position 0-TEST.
The time selector switch controls the time between flushing cycles and in position 0-TEST it is
set to 1.0/1.5/2.0 minutes depending on the filter group and the filter size. Select the time
selector according to the flushing demand.
