Handling the remote control
Refer to these safety tips for properly handling the remote control and the
batteries:
• Do not subject to strong shock.
• Do not allow water or other liquid to splash the remote control. If the
r
emote control gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.
• Avoid exposure to heat and steam.
• Open the remote control to install the batteries only.
Operating range of the remote control
Point the top of the remote control toward the IR sensor of the monitor during
button operation.
Use the remote control within a straight distance of about 8 m from IR sensor or
at
a horizontal angle of 120° and vertical angle of 30° within a distance of about
5.6 m.
NOTE: The remote control may not function properly when the IR sensor
on the monitor is under direct sunlight or strong illumination, or when
there is an obstacle in the path of signal transmission.
