The time required to perform scans of I/O differs depending upon whether
the I/O racks are local or remote.
The scan time for local systems is 0.5 ms per rack.
The scan time for remote systems depends upon the baud rate for which
the 1772-SD2 distribution panel is configured by the on-board switches. If
no block transfer modules are used in remote racks, the scan times per
1771-AS adapter 8.5 ms and 7 ms for rates of 57.6K and 115.2K baud
respectively. Block transfer times vary depending on system configuration
and are discussed in detail in documentation on the remote PLC-2 I/O
system.
