GSM DIALER
The DLM-600 now works as a stand-alone GSM dialer, the analog telephone (CMK and LINE)
connections are now disabled.
After activating an input, the DLM-600 checks to see if an event should be generated. If an alarm or a
restore must be reported for this input a message will be placed in the buffer. The orange LED OP4 is on
as long as there are messages in the buffer. The DLM-600 will now handle the messages in
chronological order.
When processing a message the DLM-600 will start dialing the lowest (1, 2 3 etc.) telephone number
programmed for that input. This telephone number is called as many time as the number of dial attempts
set in the programming. If the message cannot be delivered to the first telephone number the message
will be sent to the next number. If, after calling all the phone numbers it was unable to send the message
the DLM-600 will stop dialing and a "fail to communicate" (FTC) event generated. If one of the outputs is
programmed as "fail to communicate" then the corresponding output will be activated.
The DLM-600 can also generate a test message. A test message ensures that the DLM-600 is
periodically tested. The interval between the test calls is free programmable and default it is set to 24
hours.
Sending alarm and restore messages has priority over sending test messages.
Outputs can be activated by different types of events. Each output can be controlled until the event is
restored or for a preset time. When time activated the time can bet set set between 1 and 3600 (one
hour) seconds. It is also possible to remotely activate the output using a DTMF telephone.
GPRS DIALER
The DLM-600 now works as a stand-alone dialer and transmits GPRS messages to a RC-4001 central
station receiver equipped with a RC-4001 IP receiver card which can receive the SIA HS IP protocol. In
this mode the PSTN (CMK and LINE) connections are now disabled.
The GPRS dialer has in fact two dialers. The messages are normally sent via the primary dialer, if not
available, they will be sent via the backup dialer. It is therefore recommended to program a different
central station receiver for the backup dialer.
The DLM-600 can also generate a test message. A test message ensures that the DLM-600 is
periodically tested. The interval between the test calls is free programmable and default it is set to 24
hours.

restored or for a preset time. When time activated the time can bet set set between 1 and 3600 (one
hour) seconds. It is also possible to remotely activate the output using a DTMF telephone.
