DLM-600 installer & user manual Rev. 1.3 16-11-2011 5 / 39
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
DLM-600 PSTN DIALER (art. code. 004025): pcb only 12-15VDC / 500mA @ 12VDC
DLM-600 PSTN DIALER in cabinet (art.code. 004026): pcb in cabinet, no power supply
DLM-600 PSTN KIEZER in cabinet (art.code. 004027): 230VAC/16VDC + battery pack
12V/1600mAh
DLM-600 speech plug-on board (art. code. 004162): optional for reporting speech messages
Power supply
The DLM-600 can be powered by a 12VDC power supply, for example directly from a security
system.
In the event that the DLM-600 is extended with a back-up battery pack (art.nr. 004211) then the
DLM-600 should be powered with a 16VDC power supply.
Input voltage without battery pack: 12-16VDC
Input voltage with battery pack: 12-16VDC (Use: art. code 200074)
Current drain (with a 12VDC power supply)
GSM mode idle: approx. 130mA
GSM mode in alarm (without outputs, speech and battery pack): approx. 230mA
GPRS mode idle: approx. 140mA
GPRS mode in alarm (without outputs, speech and battery pack): approx. 220mA
Current drain depends heavily on the signal strength of the GSM/GPRS network. When using GPRS
mode the current drain is also influenced by the polling rate.
- Reserve power supply
Battery pack (art. code. 004211) can be connected to the BAT connection on the DLM-600. The
DLM-600 has a battery pack charging and detection circuit on the board.
- 4 inputs
4 programmable inputs that can be connected as standard floating (no / nc) contacts. For each input
a freely programmable name of up to 16 characters can be programmed. For each input you can
determine if both ‘ALARM’ and ‘RESTORE’ is reported.
- 4 programmable open collector outputs (max. 12VDC/500 or 200mA)
4 freely programmable outputs. Output 1 and 2 are relay contacts. Jumper J32 and J33 determine
whether the relay contact is normally open (n.o.) or normally closed (n.c.). Outputs 3 and 4 are open
collector outputs and can be loaded with up to 200mA.
The outputs can be triggered by a specific event such as a power failure, power trouble, battery
failure, fail to communicate (FTC) or GPRS failure. The outputs can also be controlled remotely by a
DTMF telephone.
- Analog (PSTN) telephone line
The PSTN (CMK) telephone connection can be used in the GSM mode to connect an external PSTN
dialer. The DLM-600 creates its own line voltage and dial tone. The DLM-600 can also be connected
between the existing analog (PSTN) telephone line and the analog dialer and work as a GSM back-
up connection.
- Telephone numbers
Up to 8 programmable telephone numbers for reporting to a central station and / or private (mobile)
telephone numbers. For each input you can program to which telephone number (s) the
alarm/restore will be reported. This allows selective reporting of specific events to specific telephone
numbers. It is also possible to transmit to both a central station and/or private (mobile) telephone
numbers.
