- Protocol
Possible central station protocols for GSM are: Contact ID, SIA Level 2 and XSIA. The central station
protocol used for GPRS is SIA HS IP. Possible private GSM protocols are: Alarm siren, SMS text
message and speech (with optional speech board)
- Speech reporting
The DLM-600 can be expanded with an optional speech board for speech reporting to private
(mobile) telephone numbers.
- 3 LED’s for optical indication
3 LED’s for the status of the DLM-600 dialer. OP2 (green) indicates if the DLM-600 is operational.
OP4 (orange) will illuminate if there is a message in the buffer (GSM mode) and in GPRS mode it
indicates that the GPRS connection is operational. OP3 (red) will illuminate when the DLM-600
transmits a message.
- Programming
The DLM-600 is programmed with an Alphatronics programming cable (art. code 003834) and a
computer/laptop with AlphaTool software (art. code 004255) version 2.4 of higher. The AlphaTool
software can be used in combination with a modem to do remote programming.

The DLM-600 is manufactured according to the latest production methods and meets the RoHS
requirements. This implies that the components used and the soldering method (among others) is lead-
free.
The DLM-600 contains a periodic ‘Test Message’ which is an automatic test report, which is generated
by the DLM-600 itself. This option should be programmed as 24-hours (requirements state within 25
hours). If the DLM-600 is in idle state (no alarms) it will automatically transmit a test message every 24
hours.
