What to do if the Low-Water LED light is flashing on my Alto-Shaam Microwave Oven?
    • L
      Lisa RobertsAug 3, 2025
If the Low-Water LED light continues to flash on your Alto-Shaam Microwave Oven, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the steam generator's drain cap inside the oven is tightly closed. If it is, check the cap's seal for leaks and replace it if necessary. Verify that the water supply to the unit is open and that the strainers in the water supply line and in front of the solenoid valve are free from dirt. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the solenoid valve Y1 may not be opening, or its magnetic coil could be defective, requiring a continuity check or replacement. In some cases, the solenoid valve itself or the relays on the PC board might be defective, necessitating replacement of the valve or PC board.

How to troubleshoot steam generator issues in my Alto-Shaam Microwave Oven?
    • K
      Kathy MorrisonAug 9, 2025
If you're experiencing steam generator issues with your Alto-Shaam Microwave Oven, start by checking the safety thermostat (N5) for the immersion heater, and push the red button on it. Also, inspect the connections X8/7 and X8/8 for loose wires on the main control board. If the contactors for the K1/K2/K3 immersion heating element are not operating, check the continuity between block terminal 22 and 25, and contactors K1/K2/K3. Check continuity between K1A1 and X5/6. Check continuity between K2A1 and X5/7. The sensor B4 may be defective and require replacement. If problems persist, the PC board might be defective and need replacement.

Why is the Low-Water LED not illuminating on my Alto-Shaam Microwave Oven?
    • C
      Clinton WuAug 18, 2025
If the Low-Water LED on your Alto-Shaam Microwave Oven isn't lighting up, the water level probe might be dirty and needs cleaning, or it may be defective and require replacement. Check the wire connections to the water level probe, ensuring that the black wire is connected to the low water level and the white wire to the normal water level. Also, check the wire connection between B1/B2 and multi-pin plug X8/3 and X8/4 on the PC board.
