3.12 Testing the Rate Configuration
O
nce a rate has been created by the iParcProfessional Rate Setup Tool, it is
possible to simulate the rate through the Rate Configuration menu. Navigate to
the Rate Configuration menu by loading the Engineer Operation menu, pressing
the Next button to continue to page two, and selecting Rate Configuration.
Press Simulation to begin testing the rate.
Change the in/out times and/or the specific rate by pressing the gray button on
the desired item to edit. Once selected, a menu is displayed allowing for
configuration of the section. If In/Out Time is selected, change the appropriate
options by pressing the gray button beside the value desired to change. Next,
use the keypad to change the value and press E once the desired value is
entered. Continue changing other fields as necessary. Press OK and Return
when finished.
If
Charge Classification is pressed, a rate menu is displayed allowing a different
rate to be tested. The rates are loaded from the .xml file located on the SD card.
Press the letter of the rate desired for testing, press OK, and press Return.
Press Execute to test the rate.
T
he Fee Calculation Test window displays the in/out times, rate letter used, pass
card classification, service tickets, and discount(s). Press Store Ticket if a store
discount is to be applied.
