C. Between these ambient temperatures, AquaLab will mea-
sure samples of similar temperature quickly and accurately. The
AquaLab Series 4TE and 4TEV have temperature control capabili-
ties that enable them to read samples at temperatures different from
ambient temperature, but no higher than 50
C.
If a sample has a water activity lower than about 0.03, AquaLab will
display the < symbol in the Measurement window to notify you that
your sample is too dry to be accurately measured by the AquaLab.
If you know that your sample water activity is above what the screen
is telling you, your instrument sensors may have been contaminated
and will need to be cleaned (see Chapter 6) or serviced (see Chapter
13).
