Electrical Wire Selection – Warning
• The internal compressor motor insulation does not protect the compressor against all possible conditions.
Please be sure that the system is properly grounded when installed in the field.
• To avoid fire, electric shock and other accidents, only use the power supply voltage indicated on the label.
• To protect the power cables, they should be secured appropriately so that they cannot become
damaged and people cannot trip over them. Outdoor rated wire should be used from the disconnect to the
heat pump
• Dedicated circuits should be used to avoid overloading breakers from other appliances.
• Check to ensure your electrical cable and fuse rating is appropriate for the power load and is properly
grounded.
