Heating/Cooling Coil
This is a stainless steel coil mounted on a lid that is designed to fit inside the small
process vessel around heating element. Fittings at the inlet and outlet of the coil
accommodate thermocouple-type temperature sensors and allow connection to the
water supply.
The lid accommodates adjustable glands for a variable-height thermocouple sensor
T1, a thermometer pocket and a temperature switch (thermostat). A spare gland
allows an additional thermometer (not supplied) to be inserted into the vessel for the
purpose of calibration.
