Proportioning Solenoid Valve PSV
A proportioning solenoid valve is located near the mains water inlet. This is used in
some process control exercises to demonstrate proportional control. At other times it
may be used to regulate the inlet flow rate.
Gear Pump
A DC motor-driven pump is located at the front of the plinth. This pump is used to
pump hot water during heating and temperature control experiments.
