5.4 To Adjust the Quick Lock Mounts

When using the S60 Adapter with devices
mounted to an X22 or X23 Modular Frame you
need to adjust the top and bottom Quick Lock
Mounts. The S60 Adapter is larger than the
HyPer Optic or X21 Dome and requires a greater
distance between devices.
Note the position of the Quick Lock Mounts for
the upper and lower device. The Quick Lock
Mounts must be mounted in the outer position
(marked) to use the S60 Adapter. To adjust the
Quick Lock Mounts:
Lay the X Modular Frame on an even, stable
surface. The upper side of the frame is the side
where the borings for the pins are placed.
1) Remove the fixing screws of the Quick Lock
Mounts for the upper and lower device using
a T25 Torx screwdriver. Take care of the
nuts as they are not secured.
2) Move the Quick Lock Mounts to the outer
position.
3) Attach the Quick Lock Mounts with the T25
screws. Do not overtighten the screws.
4) Check, if all four Quick Lock Mounts are
attached on the outer position before
attaching devices to the X Modular Frame.
ð The assembly is now ready for use.
5.5 Power Supply
WARNING
Intense light
Risk of eye injury. The high intensity light beam of the device can cause eye irritation or injury when
not respecting the safety distance
u Always use an eye protection.
u Ensure that persons do not look at the light output aperture without eye protection when the
device is connected to AC power or a battery pack. The device can light up suddenly.
NOTICE
Always connect the device directly to AC or battery power. Do not connect it to a dimmer system.
Doing so will damage the device.
5.5.1 AC Power
The SkyPanel X is equipped with an auto-sensing switch-mode power supply that adapts
automatically to 100 V - 240 V~, 50 / 60 Hz (nom.).
Make sure that no person stares at the light output aperture and the device is isolated from the
control signal (DMX or Ethernet) before you connect it to AC power.
