5.3 To Connect the X Modular Frame to the Yoke

Always attach an approved safety rope to secure the X Modular Yoke against clamp or bracket
failure when it is mounted above floor.
The safety rope needs to be approved for at least 10 times the weight of the assembly. The safety
rope must comply with EN 60598-2-17 Section 17.6.6. It must be approved by an official body such
as TÜV.
The rigging structure needs to be approved for the weight of all devices, equipment and cables
installed on it.
Lead the safety rope around the yoke and the structure the assembly is mounted to.
Keep the safety rope as short as possible, but as long as necessary.
Block access below the work area and work from a stable platform whenever installing, servicing or
moving the assembly.
The X Modular Frame can be installed onto the X Modular Yoke for a seamless stirrup format, or
you can rig the Modular Frame directly via standard 28mm spigots with C-clamps or pipe clamps for
a low-profile install.
To connect the X Modular Frame to the Yoke:
Lay the X Modular Frame on an even, stable surface. The upper side of the frame is the side where
the borings for the pins are placed.
1) Slide the yoke into the frame.
2) Secure the yoke with two pins. Secure both pins with cotter pins.
ð The assembly is now ready for use.
