4.8 Pipetting Additional Samples
After reading Sample #1, the Instrument will display the results of the
reading, and will prompt to dispense the next sample:
Result #1 XXX.X
Pipette Sample # 2
Follow the same procedure (steps 4.7.3 through 4.7.5) for Sample #2 and
for each subsequent sample addition. After each subsequent sample
addition, the Instrument will mix, read, and print the delivered volume.
When calibrating a fixed volume pipette and the desired number of data
points for the calibration run have been collected, press END OF RUN.
When calibrating an adjustable volume pipette at multiple volumes, press
ENTER and see Section 4.12, “Calibrating an Adjustable Volume Pipette
at Multiple Volumes.” The group statistics will be computed and the results
printed.
4.9 Eliminating Sample Readings and Reprinting Results
NOTE: Conformance with regulatory or other requirements relating to the provision of sufficient
justification for the elimination of data points from the statistical summary is the
responsibility of the user.
If at the end of a run a second copy of the results is desired, or it is
determined that a given data point can be eliminated from the statistical
summary, at the prompt:
Reprint Results?
(Yes/No)
Press YES. If no data points need to be eliminated from the statistical
summary, at the next prompt:
Delete Data Points?
(Yes/No)
