Room Controller 4 (NIRC4-xMN)
Make sure that the total cable length between the power supply and the NIRC4-xMN does not
exceed 2.5 meters or 8.2 feet, this is including the length of the power injector cable and the
short patch cable.
6. Interconnect the power connectors (3).
If the power supply is switched on, interconnecting the power connectors will automatically
power on the NIRC4-xMN. Make sure all wire connections are made and all optional
expansion board(s) are placed before you power on the NIRC4-xMN.
Caution: Only use a power injector when connecting the room controller to a non-PoE LAN
switch port.
Connecting a power injector to a room controller that is connected to a PoE enabled LAN
switch port, may damage the room controller or LAN switch.
