Notices
Caution!
Risk of injury due to damage: Damage to the metal parts may cause injury.
A damaged device is a safety risk. Check the packaging and the electronic knob
cylinder C100V3 for damage. A damaged device may not be put into operation.
Damaged cables and connector assemblies must not be used either.
Attention!
Damage caused by dirt: The electronic knob cylinder C100V3 and the mortise lock
can be damaged by dirt. The lock pocket and all holes must be cleaned (by blow-
ing out or vacuuming) prior to installation.
Functional limitation due to distorted installation: Installation of the electronic
knob cylinder C100V3 and the mortise lock must be free from distortion.
Damage due to use of inappropriate tools: Only use the supplied tool for work
on the door knobs, otherwise they can be damaged.
Cylinder knob cover installation is difficult when the grub screw is tightened:
Only screw in the grub screw hand-tight in the knob holder on the mechani-
cal side. If you tighten the grub screw too much, the plastic on the knob holder
spreads too far and mounting the knob cover becomes difficult or impossible
(refer to Pic.2).
Loose knobs due to incorrect locking: Ensure that all three guides („lugs“) of
the locking disc are positioned in the relevant guides in the knob. Otherwise,
theknob can come loose, even if two out of three lugs are positioned correctly.
