Accessories
The rack:
• This allows you to toast, brown or grill. The rack should never
be used with other metal cookware on the microwave, grill +
microwave or forced air + microwave modes. However, you can
reheat food in an aluminium tray providing this is isolated from the
rack using a plate.
Multi-purpose 20 mm dish
• When inserted in the supports under the grid, it collects juice
and fat from grilling, and can be used half-filled with water as
a doubleboiler. Avoid placing roasts or meat directly in the dish
because this is certain to cause significant spattering on the oven
walls.
The glass drip tray
• This can be used half-filled with water for double-boiler cooking
methods on the forced air mode. It can be used as a cooking dish.
Note
Take care to place the drip tray in the centre of the side racks to avoid
affecting air circulation.
Rack + glass drip tray:
to roast and retain the cooking juices, place the rack on the drip tray.
Three insertion heights are available for different types of cooking and
food.
On the GRILL OR GRILL + MICROWAVE MODES, use the accessories
(rack or drip tray) at insertion level 1 for thick foods such as roasts and
at insertion level 3 for thinner foods such as chops or sausages.
On the FORCED AIR OR MICROWAVE + FORCED AIR MODES, insert
the rack at level 1 or 2 depending on the dish.
