Delete a call block entry
Search for the desired entry in the call block list (see Review call block list
on page 105).
When the desired entry displays, press MUTE/DELETE on the handset or
X/DELETE on the telephone base.
The screen shows Delete contact?. Press YES to confirm. The screen
displays Deleted, and then the next entry displays. You cannot retrieve a
deleted entry.
Block calls without number
You can use this feature to reject all incoming calls which are “out of area“ or
with numbers set to “Private“.
Press MENU in idle mode.
Press CID or DIR to highlight Call block,
then press SELECT.
Press CID or DIR to highlight Calls w/o num,
then press SELECT.
Press CID or DIR to choose Block or Not block, then press SELECT.
Mute first ring
Your telephone rings once for blocked calls. You can choose to mute the first
ring for all incoming calls, so that there will be no ring for blocked calls. By
default, the mute first ring feature is set to Off.
Press MENU in idle mode.
Press 7464#.
Press CID or DIR to choose On to mute the first ring, or
Off to keep the first ring, then press SELECT.
NOTE: If you have muted the first ring, you will hear one ring less before the answering system
and voicemail answer the incoming calls.
