15 ErP performance gures
15.1 Denition of ErP
The term "ErP" includes two directives that are part of the European program for reducing greenhouse gases:
- The Ecodesign Directive establishes eciency thresholds and prohibits the marketing of products whose eciency is below these thresholds.
- The Energy Labelling Directive requires an energy performance label for products, in order to encourage customers to buy products that
consume less energy.
