MACHINE CONVERSION GUIDE LINES
Machine conversions can be classified into three
different types.
Game Conversion
Paytable Conversion
Denomination Conversion
Each type of conversion can be done individually or in
any combination.
GAME CONVERSION
If the machine is converted to complete new game
theme, these areas of the machine are involved.
Software
Glass
Legend kit / Button Panel
A game conversions will require a RAM reset.
Software
A complete software set contains:
• Base software, game software, multimedia BIOS,
and paytable (comes all as an EPROM).
• A security device (for B1.2.3 and higher only)
or a tiny / security chip.
• Multimedia software (CD-ROM)
Glass
If the glasses of machine, topper or base are themed
they need to be replaced by the new game theme.
Button Panel / Legend Foils
A button panel conversion is necessary, if a new
paytable setting with different LINES and BET PER
LINES steps is used. In most cases a button panel
conversion can be done by changing the legend foil
button inserts. A legend foil kit consists of a group
of button inserts.
Use a gaspipe pliers with soft clamping to carefully
remove the button lens caps.
