If release (PIN) has been successfully implemented, fault lamp lights constantly and immobilizer is released:
◆ As long as engine is running and ignition key remains in lock
◆ For 45 minutes if ignition key remains in lock (engine not running)
◆ For 10 minutes if ignition key is removed
-> Display on VAS 5051:
- From list -1- select diagnosis function "06 - End of output".
- Switch off ignition and then start engine.

Notes:
◆ As of week 18/00, the Audi A3 is fitted with immobilizer III. In contrast to immobilizer II, immobilizer III features
active involvement of engine control unit in evaluation and monitoring process. The immobilizer control unit
is integrated into the dash panel insert.
