High beam [D
The ~D warning/indicator light illuminates when the high beams are
on or when you use the headl ight flasher. For more informat ion about

Rear spoiler ,
The warning/indicator light monitors the electrically
retractable rear spoiler .
The warning/indicator light ..;J. has the following functions :
• It comes on for abo ut 3 seconds as a func t ion chec k when the igni-
tion is switched on .
• It comes on if there is a malfunction in the electrically retractable
rear spo iler.

Turn signals ¢¢
The indicator light blinks when you use either turn signal .
Whenever you use the left ¢i or the right ¢ turn signa l, the indicator
light blinks . When you use the emergency flasher, both indicator
lights flash.
If one of the turn signal light bulbs burn out, the turn signal will blink
twice as fast as no rma l.

Cruise control
CRUISE (USA models)/ 0° (Canada models)
The CRUISE warning/indicator light illuminates when the cruise control
is activated. •
Airbag system
tfc; (USA models) / !fr (Canada models)
This warning/indicator light monitors the airbag and the
tensioner systems.
The I (USA models)/ Jl (Canada mode ls) wa rning light illuminates
for a few seconds each time yo u switch on t he ignition.
If the m (USA models)/
!lr (Canada models) warn ing light does not go
out, or if it illuminates while you are driving, or if it starts to blink,
then there is a malfunction somewhere in the system. If the light
does not illuminate when you switch on the ignition, this also means
there is a malfunc t ion.

If you have a malfunction in th e airbag system, contact your
authorized Audi deale r immedi ately . Otherwise the airbag or the
belt ten sioner may not work properly in an accident . •
Generator D
This warning/indicator light detects a malfunction in the
generator or in the vehicle 's electrical system.
The D warning/indicator light illum inates when you switch on the
ignition and must go out after the engine has started.
