Defective Light bulb warning ci,.
The defective Lig ht bulb warning tells you when a vehicle
light bulb has become defective .
If a defect ive bu lb has been detected by the system or a light bulb
burns ou t , the ..., symbo l wit h a message appea rs in t he display to te ll
you which bulb is burnt out a nd where it is located . For examp le:
Rear left turn signal
Afte r 5 seconds, t he message disappe ar s. If you wan t t o recall t he
message into the d isp lay, press the CHECK button =>

There are three reasons why the defect ive bulb message would
appea r in the disp lay:
• The light bulb has bu rnt o ut=>
page 262.
• The fuse is "blown" => page 258, "Replacing a fuse".
• The wire connect ion to the light bulb is defective .
