In case of a malfunct ion or componen t fai lure, the symbol " iE U1{T
(USA mode ls)/ (Canada models) can appear . The fo llowing elec-
trical compo nents sho uld be checked, repaired or replaced, as neces-
sary:
• Bra ke ligh t bul bs
• All wiring connections
• Brake ligh t sw itch
Contact your authorized Aud i dea ler for assistance if necessary.

The indicator light indicates a defect in the automatic
headlights/automatic wiper system .
If the symb ol illumina t es , the light senso r has failed. For safe ty
reasons, the low beams are turned on permanently w it h the switch in
AUTO. Howeve r, you can cont inue to turn the ligh ts on and off using
the light sw itch . In the case of a defect in t he ra in sensor, the wind-
shield wipe r leve r func t ions ar e still available. Have t he ligh t/rain
sensor chec ked as soo n as poss ible at an authorized Audi dealer . •

Adaptive light defective
When th is symbol <,' ill uminate s, it means that Adaptive Light is
defective. Go to a qualified workshop to have the headlights o r the
cont rol un it for the Adaptive Light repaired . •
Tire pressure monitoring system \.)
Tire pressure that is too low must be correcte d as soon as
possible .
If the .JJ symbol flas hes for about one minute aft er t he igni-
tion is swit ched on and t hen remai ns on, t here is a malfunc-
t ion in the system. Consult the nearest author ized Audi
dealer as soon as poss ible.
