The equipment must only be installed or serviced by qualified service
personnel.
Note: Throughout this manual, unless otherwise specified, the following terms are
used:
• Device: refers to Mediant 3000 and IPmedia 3000.
• Blade: refers to TP-6310, TP-8410, and IPM-6310 cPCI blades.
• 6310 Blade: refers to TP-6310 and IPM-6310 blades.
• 8410 Blade: refers to TP-8410 blade.
Note: IPmedia 3000/IPM-6310 supports only IP interfaces (Gigabit Ethernet).
Therefore, ignore the PSTN ports on the rear panel.
Note: The 8410 blades are applicable only to Mediant 3000.
