2.9.1.2 AC Power Supply Modules
The PS/AC/3K Power Supply (PS) module is an advanced-design, multi-output switching
power supply, which can be provided in AC primary input power configurations. The PS
modules are located on the front panel and connect to the PEM modules (located on the
rear panel) through the chassis' backplane.
Power for the device is typically supplied from redundant AC power feeds, whose input
voltage ranges from 100-240 VAC. The PS modules function in an output current, load-
sharing configuration to provide necessary voltages and fail-safe operation to the blades in
the chassis.
