Mediant 3000 & IPmedia 3000

Notes:
• IPmedia 3000 supports only IP interfaces (i.e., not PSTN).
• The 8410 blades (i.e., TP-8410 and RTM-8410) are implemented only by
Mediant 3000.
• HA refers to 1+1 High Availability mode, supported only by Mediant 3000.
• For blade chassis slot assignment, refer to ''Card Cage and Slot
Assignment'' on page 16.
• For Mediant 3000, RTM-8410 is available in various hardware
configurations depending on the number of E1/T1 spans (refer to ''RTM-
8410 Rear Transition Module'' on page 31).
2.2 Front and Rear Panels
The device's front and rear panels are displayed in the figures below showing the main
components.
Note: For clarity, the figures below are shown without their communication blades.
In addition, depending on the ordered configuration, the actual views of your
device may differ from the figures below. For example, you may have different
power systems (i.e., AC or DC).
