4.7.1. Incorrect measurement and procedure to increase the TAC
If the measurement displayed on the device is different to the value obtained by another control method (drops,
strip, photometer), check that the TAC (Total Alkalinity Content) > 100 mg/L.
Procedure to increase the TAC
Stop the pH and chlorine regulator.
Add the quantity needed to the swimming pool; this is specified on the TAC packaging. It is preferable to
increase the TAC to 250 mg/L in 50 mg/L increments.
Wait for 4 hours until it is completely dissolved.
Start the pH pump.
When the pH < 7.8, restart your chlorine disinfection system.
For a stable pH: 120 mg/L < TAC < 250 mg/L
If your pH is equal to or higher than 8, the PROpilot will not start the chlorinator.
In this case, wait for the PROpilot to add a pH- dose to the pool or add pH- by hand.
4.7.2. Overwintering mode
Overwintering mode:
- is activated by default.
- switches on automatically when the water temperature falls below 15°C.
When overwintering mode is on:

- Production is stopped.
- The pH regulation is maintained if it is activated.
