Dialing Additional and Accented Characters
The keys on the telephone number pad can be used to enter characters other than those marked
on the button.
For example, though marked with just ABC, the 2 key also matches the accented forms of those
characters, for example À, Á, Á, Ã, Ä, Å and Ç. The set of additional unmarked characters
matched varies depending on the language settings of your system.
Alternate Search Methods
By default, the name matching is applied simultaneously all parts of the contact names, ie. the
first, middle and last parts of the displayed names. Your system administrator can change this to a
more basic search if required; for example to match from just the start of the first name or last
name. However, the change applies to all phones on the system.
