6. Click “OK” to save the settings.
7. Enable the options “Obtain an IP address automatically”
and “Obtain DNS server address automatically” for the
Internet protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6) as well.
The computer receives an IP address from the FRITZ!Box.
Obtaining an IP Address Automatically in Mac OS X
1. Select the “System Preferences...” in the Apple menu.
2. In the “System Preferences” window, click the “Net-
work” icon.
3. In the “Network” window, select the “Built-in Ethernet”
entry from the “Show:” list.
4. Switch to the “TCP/IP” tab and select the “Using DHCP”
option from the “Configure IPv4:” drop-down list.
5. Click “OK”.
The computer now receives an IP address from the FRITZ!Box.
