10 INSTALLING THE MIXER UNIT
The Oxygen 5 is supplied as standard without connector cables. The Oxygen 5 mainframe can sit on top of the studio
furniture counter (see the dimensioned drawing below expressed in mm):
There must be at least 375 mm of vertical clearance so the meterbridge can be fully opened into its service position.
Only 30 mm of rear clearance is required behind the mainframe.

Do not locate the console near intense electromagnetic hum fields, such as those produced by large
power transformers and by audio amplifiers which use inexpensive transformers operating in or near
saturation.
Strong electromagnetic fields may impair the performance of the Oxygen 5 and neighbouring
equipment. Audio cables must also be routed to achieve maximum practical distance from all AC
power mains wiring.
