The 9 pin D-Type plug remote connector provides the inputs and outputs for the following
functions :
- Remote Start for equipment connected to Input A and/or B
- Remote Stop for equipment connected to Input A and/or B
- Remote PFL enable
A +/- 6 VDC +/- 50 mV current-limited output is also provided for use with the remote
control outputs.
There are two general settings for the Remote Interface
- OPTO = Start / Stop commands are provided via optocouplers
- DIRECT = Start / Stop key contacts are physically linked to interface pins, so that while the key is pressed, a
shortcircuit will appear between pins 1 and 2. Start / Stop LED (located close the key) can be also
directly driven from the interface.
Jumpers J1, J2, J3, J4 J5 and J6 allows the user to set either the ‘OPTO’ or the ‘DIRECT’ interface mode.
N.B. With OPTO mode engaged, the remote Start and Stop can be made either momentary or latched by setting the
jumper J16. If no jumper is set, the Start and Stop remote operate in momentary mode.
