The gearshift pattern is shown on the gear shift lever knob. Gear shifting is in sequential form, in a “I”
pattern
Forward Gears: For engaging forward gears
• Release the throttle while pressing the clutch pedal.
• Shift into the next higher or lower gear.
• Accelerate slowly while releasing the clutch pedal.
For Better Engine performance & fuel Economy please follow the gear shifting pattern mentioned below
Reverse Gear: Prior to engaging reverse gear, ensure rear view mirrors are not obstructing rearward vision.
For engaging reverse gear
• Change to neutral, stop the vehicle with engine idling.
• Pull the reverse gear knob.
• Press clutch Pedal, Shift into reverse gear
• Release the clutch Pedal slowly and accelerate slowly to set the vehicle in motion.
Note :
Running Engine under idle/ high idle condition for long duration should be avoided as excessive
temperature can damage the exhaust system/catalytic converter.
