Running-in Period:
Avoid full-throttle starts
Avoid rapid acceleration and prolonged high speed running of the engine while using new vehicle for the
first 1000 km of operation. Do not exceed the following road speeds during running in period.
Gear - Km/hr:
Do not tow any other vehicle during running in period.
a. Stopping the Engine:
1. Release the accelerator pedal
2. Anticipate your stop,
3. Slowdown gradually and apply brakes
4. Shift into neutral Gear
5. Run the engine in idle condition for at least 1 minute.
6. Turn the ignition key Anti-clockwise to switch ‘OFF’ the engine.
7. Turn the ignition key further till ‘LOCK’ position & then take out the key.
b. Parking :
To apply the parking brake, pull the lever up fully.
To release it, pull the lever up slightly, press the release button and push the lever down.
Warning:
- Do not leave the vehicle unattended if the engine is running.
- Do not park the vehicle near materials which are highly flammable or explosive.
- Allow the vehicle to cool down before covering it.
