Flat Tyre Replacement :
If a tyre goes flat, observe the following safety precautions before you change the tyre
Turn on the Hazard flasher.
Pull the vehicle off the road to a safe place so that there is no hindrance to the traffic.
Park the vehicle on a level and firm ground. Turn off the engine & remove the key.
Apply parking brake and have all the passengers get out of the vehicle.
Place a wedge or rock in front and behind the tyre that is diagonal from the tyre to be replaced.
Take out the Wheel spanner (tool box) from under the dashboard.
Warning:
All the steps detailed above should be followed. Omission of any steps or non-adherence to any step may
cause bodily injury & or an accident, endangering others.
a. Spare wheel: It is below dashboard. To takeout spare wheel, remove the cover by unfastening 2 screw and then
remove the anti theft cover. Unlock with the help of key. Rotate the wheel mounting knob by hand in anticlockwise
direction and remove the spare wheel.
b. Jack: It is located below dashboard just beside the spare wheel. To remove jack, rotate the wing nut
anticlockwise to lower down and release it from mounting hook.
