The CIB module has an internal status machine
which places the application into various states
regardless of the CC-Link IE-Field Basic status
machine. The states only become active when the
CIB module is in cyclic communication.

The status machine is shown here in simplified form
and shows the triggers needed to change the
statuses.

As soon a cyclic communication starts the CIB
module switches to "Initial Processing" status. At this
time configurations and settings can be made.

As soon as the "Initial Processing completion" flag is
set to "1", the module switches to process data
operation using the previously configured settings.
"The reconfiguration refers only to the reconfiguration data in the process data image. This
does not affect SLMP. As soon as the "Operation condition setting request“ flag has been set
to "1" the system reverts to the reconfiguration state, which instantly applies the configured
values from the process data image. There is no IO-Link of IO process data communication
here. The "Operation condition setting completion“ flag is set to "1". This indicates that
reconfiguration is finished. Resetting the "Operation condition setting request“ flag to "0"
causes the IO-Link gateway to start communication using the new configuration.
