TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible cause/solution
In "standby" mode, the
transceiver transmits without
pressing the "PTT".
Check the level adjustment function "VOX" is not set
too sensitive.
Receive communications
from other user groups while
communicating with your
group.
Change frequency or channel. Change the
undertones "CTCSS" or code "DCS" in your group.
Communication with other
members of your group is
poor or low quality.
You or your partner is too far away or in an area of
poor radio signal propagation, such as inside a
tunnel, inside an underground car park, in a
mountainous area, including large metal structures,
etc.
Once these checks, if you still have problems with the transceiver, check with your
distributor, dealer or service center.
