10. Lamp replacement

• When the operation times of both lamps have e xceeded 4000 hours

, you c an operate the pro jector on ly for 3 m inutes after
turning on the powe r. During this time, carry out steps 15 to 20 to reset the lamp operation times.
• The projector does n’t turn on if the lamp cover isn’t attached sec urely.
• Be sure to reset the lamp operation time whenever you replace the lamp.
• Do not reset the lam p operation time unless you replace the lamp.
• The lamp is fragile. If it is br oken, be careful not to cut y ourself with glass fragme nts.
CAUTION: This projector uses a lamp that contains mercury. Disposal of the lamp or the projector with the

3. When LAMP MODE is set to STANDARD, this duration will be shorted to 2000 hours.
