BESTlogic™Plus DECS-150
True when the unit is in Auto mode (AVR).
Elements 1-8
True when Configurable Element x is active.
Protection 1-8
There are four thresholds for each of the
eight Configurable Protection blocks. Each
threshold can be set to Over or Under mode
and the threshold limit and activation delay
can each be set. See the Protection section
in this manual for more details. Each
threshold has a separate logic block for the
pickup and the trip. Configurable Protection
#1 with its Threshold #1 Pickup and Trip
blocks is shown to the right. The pickup block
is true when the threshold is exceeded. The
trip block is true when the corresponding
pickup block threshold is exceeded for the
duration of the time delay.
True when the Set input of the
CUSTOM_LED logic element is true. Refer

exceeded for the duration of the time delay.
Current Limit
True when the field current is too high, which
could result in damage to the regulator. This
condition also shuts down excitation. A
restart is required to begin regulating again.
Active
True when external tracking is running.

Operation
True when the controlled generator’s
frequency and voltage are within the
Continuous Operation region for Grid Code
Connectivity (GCC).
True when the GCC function is disabled.
Timed Out
True when any Grid Code disconnection
timer has expired.
Remains true until the GCC reconnect timer
becomes active.
Disconnected
True when disconnection criteria for GCC
has been met and remains true until the
GCC reconnect timer expires.
